Hailing from Austin, TX, MVTANT is a southern gore industrial project with a sound that is both familiarand new, cacophonous and melodic, uncomfortable and pleasurable. Their live shows in the flesh can bedescribed as being akin to the violent colors that a dingy VCR head has been known to spew in scanlinesacross a tube tv; painful to stare at, but astonishingly vivid and captivating. In addition to classic postpunk,industrial and EBM artists, MVTANT is heavily influenced by horror and science fiction films, anime,literature, and graphic novels.
